Here’s How To Buy a PS5 At Walmart Today

There have been several restocks of the PS5 in recent days, with stock flying off the virtual shelves in moments. Unfortunately, it seems as though PS5 restocks will be slowing down as we get closer to the holiday season. The good news is that if you were hoping to get your hands on a PS5 around Black Friday, there will be opportunities – particularly at Walmart who have confirmed that the console will be available to buy starting today, November 22nd. Everything you need to know to get your hands on one can be found right here.
Walmart has officially launched their Black Friday ad for 2021, and they confirm that the PlayStation 5 and PS5 Digital Edition will be available to order online only (see links below) starting today, November 22nd. They have also confirmed that Walmart+ members will get early access to them starting at 1pm PST / 4pm EST. That’s a full 3 hours before the start of Walmart’s official Black Friday event. In other words, if you aren’t a Walmart+ member, your chances are pretty slim. That said, you might want to take advantage of that 15-day free trial now, then cancel it before the cutoff date if you don’t wish to continue. Note that Walmart+ members can log into their account beginning at 3 p.m. ET to receive early access to their main lineup of Black Friday deals.
Direct links to these consoles are available below along with similar restock links from additional retailers. Make sure to sign into your Walmart account and be and waiting at launch time. This post will update with new information as it becomes available:

PS5 Digital Edition Restock Listings:

We expect that additional PS5 restocks will be available through Black Friday on the 26th. Naturally, other retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop will be planning similar restocks of the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S for Black Friday, though nothing has been confirmed at the time of writing. Keep tabs on the links above for additional restock opportunities. Again, this post will be updated with new information as it becomes available.
Finally, with super high demand and super low stock of the PS5 and Xbox Series X being a major issue this holiday season, don’t be surprised if future restocks are limited to membership programs like Amazon Prime and Walmart+. Again, now might be the time to take advantage of free trial offers where applicable. Links to some of these retail memberships can be found below:
- Amazon Prime: Free 30 day trial for new members ($12.99 per month)
- Walmart+: 15 day free trial for new members ($12.95 per month / $98 per year)
- GameStop PowerUp Rewards: $14.99 yearly
- Best Buy Totaltech: $199.99 yearly
I addition to PS5 consoles, Walmart will also offer massive deals on games. This includes Deathloop and Back 4 Blood for $25, and a special price on Call of Duty Vanguard that will be revealed on November 24th. The will even brick back the $40 deal on 12 Month PlayStation Plus memberships. Details on all of Walmart’s Black Friday deals can be found here.
